TAC 1- Basic Pistol Course (Pistol Fundamentals)

Introduction to pistol operations and mechanics as well as how to use a pistol effectively in an emergency situation. This course is designed to implement muscle memory involving pistol operation through the act of repetitive movement and pistol application drills. The student will learn the mechanics of operating a pistol by first conducting drills “dry” (no ammunition) and eventually transitioning to “live” drills.”

Our course addressed weapons manipulation fundamentals from the standpoint of human biomechanics, ergonomics, and mental processing. The TAC 1 program is as much about understanding the weapon system as it is about understanding yourself and the principles that make you who you react and function as an individual. Developed for beginners, our program is designed to give students a template for increasing mental acuity, focus, dexterity, balance, and spatial awareness while performing skill-based weapons manipulations. These same skills have direct application in everyday life. The TAC 1 program will not just make you a better shooter - it will help you fine tune your performance in all aspects of your life. This course is provided in collaboration with Tomer Israeli from Israeli Tactical School.
